The FCBAA is a non-profit organization that contracts with the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) to assign counsel to represent indigent individuals facing criminal charges in the District, Superior, and Juvenile Courts of Franklin County, including the Greenfield and Orange court locations.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Franklin County Bar Association Advocates, Inc. (FCBAA) is to provide comprehensive, zealous legal representation to indigent individuals facing criminal charges in the District, Superior, and Juvenile Courts of Franklin County, including the Greenfield and Orange court locations. FCBAA contracts with the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) to deliver client-centered, highest-quality legal services. We are committed to upholding the rights of the accused by ensuring that court-appointed attorneys meet rigorous performance standards and are equipped with the experience, education, and training necessary to provide strong legal representation grounded in fairness, dignity, and equal treatment under the law.
